The Legend of the Blue Sea Episode 4 Recap, Review: Heo Joon Jae Brings Shim Chung Home

In The Legend of the Blue Sea episode 4, Heo Joon Jae (Lee Min Ho) still has no recollection of the mermaid (Jun Ji-Hyun).

To recap, episode 4 showed the mermaid back on land in Joseon Dynasty period. Sae Wa waited for Dam Ryeong to come as he promised to watch the snowfall with her. However, there were bad men sent by the rich lord who wanted to capture. Just in time, Dam Ryeong came to save her but her leg was already wounded, which was her weakness.

In present time, Heo Joon Jae and Shim Chung met. He decided to bring her home because of the nagging voice he heard in his head that said “I love you.” He wanted to compare it with Shim Chung’s voice but he changed his mind in asking her. All the same, he wanted to learn and know more about her even though she refused to say more details why he could not remember her. However, she admitted that she gave the jade bracelet to him because “he likes” it.

Since it was Joon Jae’s birthday, Cha Si-Ah (Shin Hye-Sun) brought cake for him and met Shim Chung. The two women clearly had rivalry because of Joon Jae.

Meanwhile, Ma Da-Young (Sung Dong-Il) is trailing Joon Jae because of the latter’s stepmother’s order.
