Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth Episode 19 Spoiler, Prediction: Sun Woo Prepares to Take the Throne?

With the death of Han Sung (V) and Ah Ro (Go Ara) being shot with an arrow in Hwarang episode 17, the penultimate episode of K-drama is going to take viewers to another level. As Sun Woo (Park Seo Joon) is the rightful heir to the throne, things will even get messier and twisted.

In Hwarang episode 19 teaser, King Jinheung (Park Hyung Sik) is seen with Master Young Shil. The old man went up to sit on the throne. It is clear that the old man is provoking the king. He would perhaps make it clear that he is still not in favor for King Jinheung to be the king. He has Sun Woo in mind to put on the throne.

Meanwhile, Sun Woo is seen wearing a hat, hearing the children chant. It is about Ji Dwi being the best Hwarang, while Sun Woo is the best king. Perhaps this is one way to spread to the people that Sun Woo is the rightful heir to the throne. It could be one of the preparations that his father has made for him to take the throne.

Afterwards, the Queen Regent scolds the king, it seems. She says that he is giving them a pretext and is blaming him for it. She might mean about the rival for his throne. With this, So Hoo (Choi Min Ho) is also seen beside the king. As it is, he loves the queen and will therefore support King Jinheung.

Then Master Ahn Jin is seen angry and holds Sun Woo. Perhaps he is going to ask him to do everything in his power to save Ah Ro. Maybe is also going to urge him to take the throne, so that Ah Ro will be safe.

Next, he is seen looking at Ah Ro, saying he truly loves her. In the teaser, he is going to kiss her. In this scene, he might have decided what he is going to do — that is to take the throne.

Queen Regent Ji Soo is seen again in the promo. She angrily reminds the king that Sun Woo is also a True Bone and a rival to the throne. Perhaps the Queen Regent will tell King Jinheung of Sun Woo’s real identity — that they’re cousins.

Sun Woo is then seen with the Hwarang Chief who looks disheveled, together Master Young Shil. The two seem to want to talk to him about the throne.

On the other hand, his father said that the preparations  for him to become the king are finished. They might have already gathered everyone who is going to take their side and support their cause. This might include Master Young Shil. This could mean that Ban Ryu (Jo Di Han) is once again going to go against So Hoo.

As the promo rolled on, the Queen Regent collapses. Perhaps the poison given to her has taken its toll. Princess Sook Myung attends to the unconscious queen.

Afterwards, King Jinheung is seen seated on the throne. Sun Woo and his father walk in. The two will come face to face. They might just fight with their swords.

Watch Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (Hwarang: The Beginning) every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. KST on KBS channel. Episode 19 will air on Feb. 20.
