Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth Episode 14 Spoiler, Prediction: King Jinheung and Sun Woo Continue to Drift Apart while Going to Baekje

In Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (a.k.a. Hwarang: The Beginning) episode 14, Sun Woo (Park Seo Joon) drifts farther away from King Jinheung (Park Hyung Sik). The former is still bent on confirming the latter’s true identity so he could take his revenge.

The Hwarang episode 14 promo first shows Princess Sook Myung’s maid approaching the four Hwarang warriors, who are part of the delegation journeying toward the Baekje Kingdom. She looks worried. It seems that she bears bad news.

Later, the Hwarang warriors are fighting against some soldiers. These are most probably the soldiers in Baekje Kingdom. Perhaps the Crown Prince of the said nation wants to kill them. However, Princess Sook Myung is shown talking to the Prince, opposing to the execution of the Silla Hwarang warriors. After all, they did not go there to have a war.

The Prince replied to her if a wedding is the answer to this current crisis. Will the princess agree to the Baekje Crown Prince’s suggestion? Judging by her character, she would find another way to resolve it. Otherwise, she might not have a choice given the danger that the Hwarang warriors are in.

Afterward, the Hwarang are shown surrounded by some townspeople with torches and weapons. These might be the same people that surrounded Sun Woo and Ah Ro (Go Ara) in the last scene of Hwarang episode 13.

Then Ah Ro is focused with a voice in the background saying that the delegates cannot return. The princess is shown distressed as well.

Meanwhile, Ji Dwi and Sun Woo are seen talking. The former said “She is everything to me.” as an answer to the question “Why Ah Ro?” Sun Woo’s face looked so serious when he said it. Then the king asked him “If you are a King, how will you change Silla?” Most probably, he would answer like his usual self.

Then Soo Ho (Choi Min Ho) is seen punching King Jinheung in the face. But Sun Woo stopped him afterward. Ji Dwi then walked away. As it is, Soo Ho is protecting Sun Woo just like the Queen Regent told him to do so. Therefore, Soo Ho still thinks that Sun Woo is the King of Silla.

Ji Dwi seems to have his thought that he has to endure whatever it is just for his people as he saw some people being maltreated. Then another scene is shown wherein Sun Woo is fighting with some soldiers. A sword is dangerously poised on his throat, while Ji Dwi is trying to contain himself with rage. Will he finally reveal his true identity in the next episode?
