Goblin Episode 14 Theory, to be Aired Next Week: Episode 15, Episode 16 Back-to-Back Airing

Goblin episode 14 has been pushed back as the end is nearing. Three more episodes to go and the beloved Kdrama is going to bid its goodbye to the fans and viewers.

According to Soompi, due to some CG and other post-production stuff to be done for this unprecedented drama, the staff are pressed by time. Therefore, for the viewers to watch the remaining episodes without more hiccups, a special episode will air tonight in place of episode 14. The next episode will instead air on Jan. 20.

Moreover, Goblin episode 15 and episode 16 are going to be aired back to back on Jan 21. These two episodes will be the last of the Korean drama.

In theory, Goblin episode 14 will show what will happen to the Grim Reaper (Lee Dong Wook) after Kim Shin’s (Gong Yoo) death. With three more episodes remaining, a lot of things are still going to happen in the Kim Eun-Sook-penned masterpiece.

Perhaps, as what Kim Shin wished, he would be able to meet Ji Eun Tak when it is the first day of snow in the winter and when it is raining, in the latter episodes. Also, she might become a normal person in episode 14.

Kim Shin might have vanished in the human world, but when he comes face-to-face with the deity and the Almighty, they still have things to discuss. It seemed that Kim Shin’s immortality was used as a tool to end a demon’s life, not entirely as a punishment.

In a twist, Kim Shin might be sent back into the human world to remain a Goblin forever, where he could be together with Eun Tak time and again, life after life.

As for the Grim Reaper, there may be no or there will be a happy ending for him with Sunny (Yoo In Na). After all, he had served as a Grim Reaper with no memories of his past for centuries. He could be granted with a good fortune by the deities.

All this — or not — are going to be revealed when Goblin episode 14 airs on Jan. 20. Watch the special episode tonight on tvN that will unravel the complicated relationships of the characters.
